Newbies
The perfect way to introduce your partner, friends, and family to motorsport without the worry that they'll be bored or tired. They can participate in anything they choose, or simply have their own adventure.
Community
Watching races from home - or even at the track - can be isolating. We will create opportunities for race fans to meet, gather, and enjoy the sport together while introducing new people to the sport.
Casual Fans
Make the race weekend part of your vacation. Take full advantage of your cruise, and pop in for as much or as little of the on-track action and group activities as you like.

Passion
I'm a fairly new, but very engaged Formula 1 fan. As a fan-created event, the goal is let everyone root for their team, their driver, or just a great race; and share their excitement with each other with some friendly competition.
Dedicated Race Fans
We plan to host watch parties for all practice sessions, qualifying, and the grand prix; along with exclusive meetups and activities on board. All the racing you could ask for in the middle of the Caribbean.

General Information
Dates: Exact dates are TBD, but the premier 2027 Miami GP @ Sea will coincide with the 2027 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. The 2027 F1 calendar should drop sometime June-Sept 2026

Trip Length: I am looking at cruises that are between 5-8 nights. The most important thing is that they will not be starting/ending during the grand prix weekend.
​
Cruise Line: I am exploring several cruise lines to find the best itinerary and the best fit for our cruise.
​
Group Size: TBD, and will depend on early interest.
Onboard Activities: These will greatly depend on which cruise itinerary fits the schedule and the final group size. At minimum we will have a private welcome gathering, watch parties for qualifying and race sessions, and raffles and/or a prediction pool with merch and prizes. The goal is to have watch parties for ALL sessions, sim racing or karting competitions, and a post-race Q&A or panel session.

Location: At sea and at ports in the Caribbean. Departure port will be within Florida, likely Miami or Fort Lauderdale.

Price: The per person price is TBD. Once a cruise line and itinerary are chosen, pricing will be available. Package pricing will include the full cost of the cruise with all of its inclusions at a special group rate; all organized activities onboard; and hotel for 1 night before the cruise (optional for Florida residents) with transportation to the cruise port. Onboard upgrades and purchases, flights, airport transfers, excursions, travel insurance, and extending your vacation can be added to your trip, or can be purchased separately.

Future Races: If successful, we will continue running for each Miami Grand Prix weekend, and hope to expand to multiple races in both Formula 1 and beyond, with cruises out of Florida as well as near the race locations.

Track Add-ons: While not the purpose of GP @ Sea, XPloration Travel also plans trips around the globe, and can get you to most tracks for race day while building a complete itinerary for your group.
